Walk Like a Halfling: Short, Lively Steps

Short, lively steps, unhurried walks with plenty of stops.

Halflings are in no hurry, and the road is better for it. Their stride is short for their height, their walks rarely pass the hour, and there is always a reason to stop: a bakery, a dog, a view, a bench that looks underused.

Short steps come first. Without them there is no Halfling, however many stops you make. Daytime strolls and frequent pauses then say how Halfling you really are.

One of the six lineages open to everyone.

What the app measures

These are the marks that give full score, taken straight from the rules of the app. You get partial score on the way there.

MeasureFull score at
Stride length (of your height) (the key)41 % or less
Length of each outingbetween 25 min and 70 min
Stops per hour4 or more
Daytime outings (8 am–6 pm)100 %

Without the key measure there is no Halfling, whatever the rest says.
